Paperclip follows high school sleuth Jesse as she investigates several recent disappearances in her school. Not all is as it seems.
Paperclip was the brainchild of my friends Crow and Jayde and myself. We wanted to make a Hitchcock-style movie with lots of twists and unpredicability, so in summer of 2010 we started brainstorming characters and posible plots. Crow started a first draft, then sent it to me and I kept writing.
I teamed up with Roo, Erin, and John (the same production team from Vacationers) and we met weekly during pre-production. Everyone, but especially John, helped with story suggestions as I worked on script rewrites.
We held auditions in September, 2011, had a few rehearsals leading up to production, and then shot for 8 days in October and November.
